Holy cow...we had a small earthquake here yesterday. I had no reaction to it. Daddy did though. He came rushing downstairs to see if anything happened. Mommy & I laughed at him.

I an no whiz at math, but that equation doesn't seem right.

Yesterday abuela came over for awhile and we had fun. I actually got a good night's sleep while Daddy was at work.

But today I am cranky and nothing is making me happy!

Trouble Sleeping

I am not making it through the night. It is tough on Mommy. I wish I knew why.....Daddy's interegation techniques failed to get an answer.

Nice Day

Not much happened around here yesterday. We just stayed home and relaxed.

Mommy & Daddy were bummed because something happened to the cable while TiVo was recording "24", so no Jack this week. Luckily, Fox puts the episode online, so they will have to watch it on the computer.

Monique and I are becoming fast friends as I drop a high percentage of Gerber puffs to the floor!

Good Day, Bad Night

The day started way too early, which probably caused Daddy's headache all day. But it was good for me. Went to abuela's for awhile so Mommy & Daddy could shop for stuff. I had fun. Another orange and tried some lentil soup. Food is good!

The night however, not so good. Mommy & Daddy did not feel well, and I couldn't sleep for very long at a time. Hope today is better!

I Take Sundays Off

Yesterday I started eating some solid foods. Okay, so they melt in my mouth, but they start solid enough. Daddy bought me some Gerber Puff things. I tried the Cheerios, but I don't chew them well enough yet. I just swallow, then gag, scare Mommy & Daddy, then spit it up. Don't get me wrong, it's fun...but I like the eating of the puffs better.

Not much else going on. Daddy is corrupting me early by letting me watch cartoons on www.joecartoon.com.

They are funny. The noises make me laugh.

Fun At The Park

I love slides! I went to the park yesterday and had fun! The slide is my favorite...much better than the swing:
But to be fair, this isn't an action shot. Swings are much more fun when swinging rather than sitting.

But the park wasn't just fun & games. It was educational too!

So what's new?

Here I am doing a little exercising while Daddy is being super lazy. Things are pretty calm around here. Not much happening. Still doing that crawling thing, but still not that great at it. I am learning how to pull myself up now. That is cool! When I stand up I can see so much more.

Well exercising wears me out:

Faster Than A Speeding Bullet

Daddy learned the hard way that I am to be watched at all times. One moment I am sitting on the floor playing with my blocks, and a split second later...WHAP! Head to the carpet backwards!

It hurt! I yelled and screamed...and when Daddy tried to calm me down, I screamed some more and hit him in the chest with my fists. Soon I was calm, and everything was fine. No bump, no bruise, no problem.

I guess I wouldn't be a Kobus without starting a litany of "and then I hit my head stories"

Today is windy. Crazy windy!

Here I am getting told that I am going to abuela's house yesterday! I had a fun time. It was pretty chilly out for LA, but we had fun anyway. I loved the slide and the swings!

What Happened Yesterday?

I don't know. I was cranky. Surprise!

At least Tony Gwynn is officially a Hall of Famer! Cool! Although I don't know who he is, Daddy seems to like him, so he must be an okay guy!

So I don't know what is up with my schedule, but it is making me cranky. Much like when Daddy takes the paper from me that I havemanaged to grab.

Oh, wait, I do remember something. I tried to open a bottle of water by myself. I couldn't, but I tried it just like a big person.

8 Months Old Today!

And to celebrate I was a cranky baby all night. Poor Mommy! Hopefully Mommy can rest while Daddy & I watch some football. Right now I need a nap too!

Oh my, sleepy but not sleeping

Let's just say that it wasn't a good night. The day was pretty good. We got another Baby Einstein movie. This one was about Farm Animals. I liked the rooster & the pig the best.

Okay, back to being cranky!

Crawling

Woo hoo I am starting to move! I can crawl across a small area to get a toy (or a Jackson!) I also can sit by myself for a good amount of time. Yeah!

Man was it windy here last night. Didn't bother me though! Slept well.

I like when Daddy or Mommy sing "You Are My Sunshine" to me.

Relaxing Day

Didn't do anything yesterday. Tried to get back on my sleeping schedule...not quite there yet. We watched Pirates Of The Caribbean 2. It took us forever...too many interruptions by me!

Happy New Year!

I am a day late because yesterday was recovery day from New Year's Eve. I partied too hard on formula and baby food. I even had some lentil soup. I liked it!This is a party outfit!

Today is going to be a relaxing one around the house (i hope) Maybe a quick trip for some groceries, but other than that, not much.
